Principal’s Blog: Celebrations from Catholic Schools Week

Thank you for joining us in our celebration of Catholic Schools Week. It was a fun week for the children at school this week! If your mornings were anything like mine, lots of trips through the costume bin and improvised dress-up props for a big part of the week. I applaud all of the teachers who worked together on the schedule of events and logistics this week.

Celebrations from the week:

  • Middle school students led us in an all-school prayer service on Monday.
  • Samuel and Reagan represented the school at the All-Diocesan School Mass at the Cathedral.
  • Students were the lectors and the cantors at the weekend Masses.
  • Students worked on various projects to thank grandparents, parents, essential workers, seminarians, and others in our community.
  • SAC bought our teachers lunch.
  • 34 new students enrolled with us for next school year within the first 24 hours of registration opening. And PK4 enrollment filled within four days – a waitlist has now started.
  • GRACE raised $15,120 on the Day of Grace – Day of Giving. Thank you to those of you that contributed to help us offset challenging costs this year.
Enroll Today!
Please take time this week to enroll for the next school year. Your early registrations help us to make a secure staffing plan and prepare for the next school year.

Snow Days
SJB will follow Howard-Suamico School District with all weather-related delays and/or cancellations. In some circumstances, GRACE may call a snow day as was the case. Various factors weigh into this decision, including the distances traveled and how our system interacts with many different transportation companies.
