Hello! This is my second year teaching and I can’t tell you how excited and blessed I am to be at St. John’s. I am very familiar with the area as I grew up and reside in Suamico. Ironically, I actually went to preschool at St. John’s. Besides teaching Physical Education at SJB, I will also be teaching Health to 7th and 8th graders. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my fiance, friends and family. Activities that I enjoy include sports, exercise, fishing and playing with my dogs. I look forward to having an awesome year at St. John’s!

As we shift to continuous learning and social distancing, please make sure to take care of yourself. It is so easy to be home and sit on the couch and amp up our screen time. Make sure to still stay active, 60 minutes of physical activity is the medical recommendation for all people. Also make sure to eat right, even if it’s easier to not do so. I will be doing my best with the time and communication we have to make sure your kids stay physically active. Encourage them to stay active, play outside or even play board game to add an social and strategic aspect  to their day. Lastly, make sure we are doing what we were all taught as young kids- wash your hands, cover your cough and sneezes with your arm and don’t go places if you’re sick. This is a different time, but we can get through this with precautions 🙂
