St. John the Baptist School offers a unique, faith-filled, preschool program for 3- and 4-year-olds.

Our program exposes children to pre-academic concepts and focuses on fine motor and social skill development. Children learn early literacy and number skills through hands-on projects and activities in an environment that challenges and nurtures them as individuals. Staff integrates our Catholic Christian faith into the classroom environment and academic content.

We teach through a variety of themes that allow your child to learn and explore through play. “Encore Classes” taught by our dedicated specialists are also included in our 4-year-old preschooler’s day: Art, Music, Gym, and Library. More about our Program/Curriculum.

Meet our Preschool Teachers

Mrs. Kiara Wolfgram (4-year-old Preschool)
Credentials: Bachelors of Science in Early/Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Why St. John’s: I attended school at St. John the Baptist myself and my experience truly shaped me into the person I am today. I am so happy to be able to share my love for learning and at the same time, continue to deepen my relationship with God. It is truly a joy to teach our littlest learners and an honor to begin to shape future disciples of Jesus.
Mrs. Jamie Berndt - Early Childhood Teacher
Mrs. Jamie Berndt (4-year-old Preschool
Credentials:  Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Western Michigan University; formerly served as a director of a Christian Preschool in Illinois.
Why St. John’s: We chose St John’s a few years ago for our family because of the strong academics and the welcoming Catholic environment. Our children have excelled and I feel very fortunate to now be a part of this very talented staff and community.
